Due to the similarity in the names of the private MEDİGÜVEN hospital and Ankara GÜVEN hospital, GÜVEN hospital filed a copyright lawsuit against the name of our hospital to the 1st intellectual and industrial rights civil court of the Republic of Turkey, Ankara, on 22.05.2012. According to the decision, our hospital lost the name case. As our company, the decision given by the court was transferred to the 11th civil chamber of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Turkey, but the relevant civil chamber of the Supreme Court of Appeals decided to reject our appeal objections with the decision number 2014/11350 of the Supreme Court of Appeals no. 2015/7967. Following this decision of the Supreme Court, the name of our hospital was changed. A survey was organized for all employees of our hospital regarding the new name of our hospital.

         According to the results of this survey, the name PRIVATE MEDIGUNES HOSPITAL, which received the most votes and was accepted by our management, was found appropriate. Our hospital, which was established in December 2010 as a partnership of 10 doctors, will continue to provide health services with the highest quality and most technological devices that our local people deserve, with the same partnership structure and the same staff. With our newly opened units, the new health investments needed by the people of the region will be completed as soon as possible. We hope that our new name will be beneficial for our hospital and our people.
