Associate Professor Yücel Özen, who started working at Salihli Private Medigüneş Hospital Heart Center and started accepting patients, graduated from Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine in 1998. Associate Professor Özen, who completed his specialty training at Koşuyolu Heart Training and Research Hospital in 2003, worked as a cardiac surgeon at Koşuyolu Heart Training and Research Hospital between 2003-2006. Associate Professor Özen, who worked as a clinical chief in various private hospitals between 2007 and 2013, became an associate professor at Koşuyolu Heart Training and Research Hospital in 2016. Associate Professor Özen, who worked as a coordinator in the heart transplant and artificial heart team at Koşuyolu Heart Hospital between 2013 and 2017, actively participated in more than 30 heart transplants and more than 100 artificial heart surgeries. It was learned that Associate Professor Özen, who is the head of the department at Sancaktepe İlhan Varank Training and Research Hospital and has 128 certificates, has performed more than 20 thousand cardiovascular surgeries.
