Surgeries performed by arthroscopic method
Arthroscopy; It is a method that allows seeing the inside of the joints through small incisions and allows treatment at the same time.
Meniscus Tears: A sudden rotation of the knee or repetitive bending and standing can cause a meniscus tear. This can cause pain and swelling in the knee. It may also cause noise and locking in the knee. Arthroscopic repair in treatment. Depending on the location of the tear, the meniscus can be removed or sutured.
Ligament Tears: Injuries are encountered especially in the anterior cruciate and medial lateral ligaments. Treatment includes arthroscopic ligament repair.
Cartilage Wear: Damage to the joint cartilage may occur as a result of impact or aging. Sometimes the broken piece of cartilage can move freely within the joint. This is called “joint mouse”. With treatment, blood flow to the cartilage is restored arthroscopically.
